Do I need to be elite to race?
No. We scale weights so the Solo divisions are achievable for anyone who trains 3× a week. If you can run 5k and lift a kettlebell, you can race. About 40 % of every field is first-timers.
What kit do I need to bring?
Just training kit and trainers. All race equipment (sleds, balls, ergs, sandbags, dumbbells) is provided onsite and QA'd race morning. We recommend a change of kit for after.
How much does a ticket cost?
Two races, two pricing models. Manchester (19 Sep) is one price: Solo £107 · Doubles £177 · Tribrid £217 · Hyteens £177. Telford (10 Oct) runs General Sale from £112, rising in published waves each month — book early. Spectators free at both.
How do doubles work?
Two athletes share the load station-by-station. You can split work however you like as long as the rep count is hit — pacing strategy is yours. Both athletes are timed together; you cross the finish line together.
Refunds and transfers?
Transfers: free transfer to another athlete up to 7 days before the race — just email us their name + email. Refunds: tickets are non-refundable, but you can always transfer your spot to someone else up to 7 days out.
What about spectators?
Spectator entry is free. Reserve a slot on this page so we can plan capacity, food, and merch.
Age restrictions?
18+ for the public race. Hyteens (13–15) runs as a separate junior heat with scaled standards — one teen races with one adult, and a full safety briefing is included on race morning. Book directly with the Hyteens ticket above.
Where do races happen?
UK venues across the season. Next up in 2026: Manchester (19 September) at Bowlers Exhibition Centre. Derby hosted the season opener on 27 June. Future race dates and locations are announced via Instagram first — follow @hybridnw.
Leave your email and we'll send race updates and key dates before Manchester fills up. No spam — just the essentials.
